This post is late and very short today as I sit in the airport on my way back to New York.  I’ve spent this weekend with my family for Passover. What does it mean to me? What does being Jewish mean to me? It means being true to myself. It means being true to my family. It means tons of quality time and being together. It’s not about observance and rigid rules to me. It’s about tradition, culture, and family. It’s about strength and pride. It’s about remembering where we came from and where we are going – individually and as a people. Most of all it’s about savoring these moments. I spent this past weekend unplugged and mindful when we were together. I don’t want to let this time pass me by. I want to always remember these times, that at the second Seder this year, my niece and nephews couldn’t stop laughing.  We had done a family comedy routine waiting for the Seder to start. Those giggles, that hug, that’s where it’s at for me this year.  I leave now filled with love and gratitude.  Happy Passover bitches!

P.S. Here’s my gluten free matzah for this year!
